The event titled “In the Footsteps of Twin Hills: Nature Walk,” organized by the Ondokuz Mayıs University Cycling and Nature Sports Community (BIDOST), was held as a remarkable experience that brought together both the energy of nature and the deep-rooted history of Bafra. Before the event, community members visited the officials of the Bafra Archaeology and Ethnography Museum and received detailed information about the archaeological background of the İkiztepe Mound and the excavation work conducted in the region. This briefing helped participants explore the historical texture they encountered during the walk with greater awareness and curiosity. A total of 53 participants followed the walking route under the guidance of Community President Ebru Sude Akdağ; they experienced the dynamism of physical activity while also observing firsthand the rich historical heritage of the region, which dates back to ancient times. BIDOST members and students studying at OMU Bafra Campus enjoyed an unforgettable day in this special area where nature and history intertwine, offering both physical activity and cultural awareness together. The event provided participants not only with a walk but also a comprehensive exploration experience that introduced them to Bafra's rich cultural heritage. Thank You We extend our sincere gratitude to all individuals and institutions who contributed to the realization of this event:
